Denisa Půbalová (she/her) is an audiovisual artist, a researcher on environmental philosophy, critical posthumanism, and technological infrastructures, and a creative coder fascinated by interspecies communication and post-anthropocentric narratives.

Exploring microscopic and macroscopic happenings, her current research on climate spans from getting to know diatoms (microalgae) as climate storytellers to critically reflecting on the phenomenon of Earth's digital twin. For her artistic research, she was working with Waag Futurelab, Posthuman Art Network CA, and Artbiom Prague.

Together with Lea Luka Sikau, she co-founded the collective Art for Nons, an artistic initiative focusing on nonhuman encounters within the arts. Art for Nons was commissioned by Art Electronica, IMPAKT Utrecht, transmediale Berlin, Ensemble Modern, TONALi Hamburg, and ligeti zenter Hamburg.

She is a creative software developer for Woven Studio, translating environmental data into stunning data-driven artistic installations for clients such as UNESCO, LVMH, Montreaux Jazz Festival, and more.

She is a visual artist in Metanoia Creatives, a collective that focuses on digital animation, generative arts, projection mappings, and large-scale audiovisual events presented worldwide (Dublin, Poland, Czech Republic, Shanghai, France).
